Outdoor Venue

During the Summer months we shoot at Benfield Sports Centre, Benfield Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne, Wallsend NE6 4NU.

Car parking is free but can get busy especially on a Saturday and there is an overflow car park accessible through the School gates directly off Benfield Road.

Shooting times are from April 1st to September 31st:

Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 3pm 

Tuesday and Thursday: 4:30pm - late 

Indoor Venue

During the winter we shoot indoors at the Sports Hall at 44 Back Brandling Pl S, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 4RU. It is part of the Newcastle High School for Girls (NHSG).

As part of the arrangement they let us park in their staff car park which is located on their main site at Tankerville Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 3BA. The car park is unlocked (usually!!) and is on the left of the main school block off Tankerville Terrace, its about a 5 min walk to the hall.

There is also a small NCP car park next to the hall  (currently £1.25 for 2 hours). Finally there is 2hrs parking outside the row of shops on Clayton Road nearby.

Shooting times are from October 1st to March 31st:

Saturday: 10am - 2pm

Tuesday and Thursday: 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Doors are time controlled and unlock 15 mins before our start times so we can start to set up. We still need to open the doors with an access card and several committee and others have cards so if you arrive first please be patient. We usually access the hall from around the back through the wooden gate where there is a side door.
